England – Oblates of the Virgin Mary

The Oblates of the Virgin Mary first came to England in 2019.

This very new community staffs St. Boniface Catholic Church in the city of Southampton, the second largest city in the Diocese of Portsmouth.

The Oblates are very happy to be in England and are excited about what the future will hold.

Founded by Venerable Pio Bruno Lanteri, the Oblates of the Virgin Mary are a Congregation of priests and brothers who carry out the spirit and charism of their founder through the apostolates of directing the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, supporting clergy formation, propagating the truth through the mass media, proclaiming the Gospel in the foreign missions, and supporting lay formation.
